About Our Classes

Our classes consist of 30 minutes of yoga and 30 minutes of puppy playtime.

Each class you will be joined by a litter of puppies who are free to wander around during the yoga session and even get involved with your poses!  The breed joining the class will be announced prior to tickets being released so you will know who you will be joined by.

Classes will include yoga postures, breathing and relaxation techniques...and of course puppy cuddles!

Benefits for the Puppies

Socialisation for puppies is so important for their development. The classes allow the puppies to get used to human interaction to give them the confidence they need before they go to their forever homes. Our classes help the puppies build a foundation of a friendly, social personality. The puppies health and safety is the priority in the classes.

Well-being

Studies have shown that interactions with animals, especially puppies, has a massive positive effect on people's mental well-being. Puppies can lower stress and blood pressure, whilst also increasing dopamine, serotonin and oxytocin levels (the happy hormones!). Yoga is also said to promote higher levels of GABA production, which acts as a natural antidepressant in your body.

Yoga

Our classes are led by a fully qualified yoga instructor, or trainees in the last stages of training, who will lead you to relax and let go of any stress. All classes are for mixed-ability, they are catered to include everyone. Each pose will be described at beginner level, with add ons for a more advanced variation of the pose. Along with the well-being benefits, yoga also has a lot of physical benefits such as increased flexibility, muscle strength and promotes quality of sleep.

Charities we donate to

A portion of proceeds goes to the Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH) who help people in Scotland struggling with mental health.

We work with CHAS on a regular basis visting Rachel House. The children and families spend time with the puppies. This is very therapeutic and enjoyable  and puts a smile on everyones faces.

Additionally our two main studios we host classes in Edinburgh: the Eric Liddell community centre and the Crags Centre are both charities. The rent of the studios goes to these charities.
